The Effects of Job -demands, Job-resources, and Leader- Member Exchange(LMX) on the Social Worker¡¯s Burnout£ºFocusing on Senior Welfare Center

Abstract
The purpose of this research was to examine the influence of job-demands, job-resources, and LMX on the social worker¡¯s burnout. The sample consisted of 189 social workers in 33 Senior Welfare Centers and the survey was conducted in January 2016. The date was analyzed using descriptive and multiple regression methods. The major findings of the study firstly were the job-demands had positive effects on the worker¡¯s burnout and the job-resourse had negative effects on the worker¡¯s burnout. That is if social workers have a strenuous job-demands, bournout will be increased and provided an abundance of job-resourse, burnout will be lowered. Secondly, LMX had negative effects on the worker¡¯s burnout and had mediating effect between job- resourses and burnout. All these findings were discussed on Senior Welfare Center and research.
